SELECTED RESEARCH RESULTS
Our software has demonstrated lower calculation time and data-storage requirements in a defined local benchmark.
CALCULATION TIME
Lower median time
against a dense NumPy reference.
CALCULATION TIME · QUIMB
Lower median time
in the quimb library comparison.
CHANNEL-DATA STORAGE
Less stored numerical data
than the full-real reference.
Numerical agreement checked throughout.
Outputs agreed with the reference calculations to numerical precision.
Internal classical-software benchmark. Each reference is normalized to 100; lower is better. These are calculation and channel-data results, not total application speed or memory.
The timing comparisons use full-representation NumPy and quimb references on the same defined calculation workload. They measure median numerical-update time; model setup, validation, service overhead and record handling are outside the timed workload. Storage refers to numerical channel data only.
The figures describe these specific comparisons. Performance varies with workload and implementation. These selected results do not establish a general advantage over other quantum software. They have been checked internally; external validation and quantum-hardware evaluation remain pending.
THE LAB
Lumenus Inc is a quantum R&D lab led by Paul Cooper. We connect mathematical research with working software and carefully measured experiments.
Our focus is practical: understand what a result makes possible, build the implementation, and test where it helps.
Investigating more efficient ways to work with quantum information.
Exploring how information and decisions can improve the behavior of quantum systems.
Testing accuracy, resource use and operating limits against clearly defined comparisons.
